Fire Prevention OPEN HOUSE On Saturday June 28th 2008 The Ellendale Vol. Fire Co. held there 2nd annual Open House. The event was a huge success and we would like to thank all that took time to come out and visit the firehouse and learn about what we do. Thank you to all the agenices that participated. There were several events that took place throughout the day and below are some of the photos. Thank you again from the Officers and members of the Ellendale Vol Fire Co. FIRE PREVENTION AWARDS Fire prevention poster and essay awards were given out on Thurs. Nov. 15, at 7:00pm. At the Ellendale Fire Co. Refreshments were served by Ellendale Ladies Auxiliary. Congratulations to all the winners. A FEW THANK YOU'S Thanks to all that made fire prevention week a huge success. A few pictures are shown from the schools and day cares, enjoy. Thanks Jay.     FOOD FOR THOUGHT Fire Prevention week was a success... Lets think about fire safty for a bit... Are our smoke detectors in good working order? Do they have good batteries in them? Or does everyone in the house know at least two ways out of the house and where the family meeting place is? Do we all know to dail 911 in an emergency and how to answer there questions? These are just a few questions to ask youself. There is NO such thing as being over prepared! If you can't answer all these question with a YES...
